Global Province-Level Regional Comparison of GDP Growth
In a global comparison of regions below the country level, economists found that Liaoning in Northeast China had the highest economic growth rate both in 2008 and 2009. The analysis compared the eight GDP strongest provinces of the eight GDP strongest countries.
